Three Muses Challenge - Gone With The Wind

This challenge was open to any interpretation, and due to the terrible tornadoes that hit this past weekend, that's what I immediately thought of. I started with a photo of one of those tornadoes. (No disrespect intended for those who lost so much because of the storms. We had storms and wind gusts up to 70 mph, but fortunately, no tornadoes developed in Michigan. Some 500,000 people lost power, though.)

I added Scarlett's beloved Tara, and worked from there.

They say it helps to find a little bit of humor in everything.

Tee-Hee! Very funny, Bill! It looks like Marilyn needs to check the weather for high wind warnings before she steps outside!!!!

It seems to me that fake Marilyn is responsible for that one Tornado. Does it have a male name?

Bill, this is a brilliant piece on so many levels. Your skill in using the tornado photo as a mask and adding such great textures and colour is amazing. The touch of humour is perfect. Your imagination is always a source of wonder. Superb.

Bill, you put a smile on my face. Guess it was Marilyn the one to be blamed for the tornado. Wonderful!

It appears it blew Marilyn right to Tara, Bill. Great imagination! I have several relatives living in Washington, IL, which was especially hard hit, but they all escaped without damage. Frightening storm front. We had blankets and flashlights at the ready, but it missed us, thank heaven. By the way, I like your head wind comment. Wonder what a tail wind would look like??? lol

You have a pretty wild imagination if it leaps from tornadoes to Tara to Marilyn Monroe...no wonder I can't keep up with you....great imagining.

I love your contrast, wonderful idea to combine the horrible tornado with the funny image of Marylin. Admiring hugs as always,
